Cochrane reviews – conducted by over 10,000 volunteer reviewers from around the world and coordinated by over 50 Cochrane Review Groups (CRGs) - systematically identify, appraise and summarise evidence according to pre-defined, explicit methods. The aim of a Cochrane systematic review is to integrate the findings, pool the data where appropriate, and generate “overall” results.
Many of the 3,000+ Cochrane reviews in the Cochrane Library have relevance to nursing care.
